Meet the SYDNEY ART QUARTEt

The Sydney Art Quartet is a virtuosic string quartet, giving electrifying performances that playfully sidestep routine, cliche and orthodoxy. We produce intimate, multi sensory works that shine fresh light on great music and the hearts and minds that created it. We collaborate with artists of every kind to bring the richest possible musical experiences to audiences of all backgrounds

Since 2015 the Sydney Art Quartet has hand-crafted over 100 performances alone and in partnership with some of this country’s most exciting and original creative minds and companies, including:

  • Kate Denborough & Gerard Van Dyck: KAGE contemporary dance

  • Taryn Fiebig: principal soprano Opera Australia

  • Gary Heery: celebrity portrait photographer
