Paulina Rosa
Paulina’s passion for floral art became a hands-on pursuit in 2018 under Sydney-based Sogetsu Ikebana Riji Master Ms. Masae Ako, later complemented by a Certificate III in Western Floristry.
Now a certified 4th Grade Sogetsu Ikebana Teacher, she teaches across Inner City Sydney. Her work is featured at the Redfern Art Gallery, alongside notable exhibitions including the 65th Sogetsu Sydney/NSW Celebration, Rochfort Gallery, Eryldene Historic House, the 55th Camellia Show and various private displays.
Practicing Ikebana has heightened Paulina’s sensitivity to the natural beauty around her, allowing her to find continuous delight and harmony in everyday life. This deeply enriching experience, brings her immense creative fulfillment, one she passionately enjoys sharing with others.
Junko Daniels
Born near Tokyo, Junko began studying Koryu Ikebana at the age of nineteen. After moving to Australia in 1988, she discovered Sogetsu Ikebana and began studying with Sydney-based Sogetsu Ikebana Riji Master Ms. Masae Ako.
Junko received her first Sogetsu certificate in 2001 and is now a certified 4th Grade Sogetsu Ikebana Teacher. A committee member of the Australian Sogetsu Teachers Association (ASTA), she has participated in numerous exhibitions and workshops, including at Hazelhurst Regional Gallery, the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, McGlade Gallery at Australian Catholic University, Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre, and exhibitions in Chatswood and Newcastle.
Junko continues to find great joy in studying and practising Sogetsu Ikebana, embracing it as a lifelong journey of discovery and a way of bringing beauty and enrichment into everyday life.
