Appropriately called La Belle Epoque; this series of concerts was truly multi-sensory, weaving together passionate SAQ performances with tastings of four exquisite Perrier-Jouët cuvées & unique insights from Emmanuel De Madre (Champagne Ambassador) and James Beck (Artistic Director).
La Belle Epoque took place in the private ballroom of ‘The Swifts’ Darling Point (circa 1870), an extraordinary romantic estate, with an interior rarely seen by public eyes.
Featuring ideal acoustics and richly displaying the decorative arts of the late 19th century, there was no doubt that ‘The Swifts’ was the perfect location to experience the magical pairing of live quartet music and Perrier-Jouët’s intricate and delicate champagne style - for which it is famous throughout the world.
